Join us for an exciting alpine journey to the enchanting mountains of Switzerland and Austria to explore their unique grape varieties and artisan cheeses.
Wine has been grown in Switzerland for 2,000 years yet very little is known about these wines outside of Switzerland, yet it is a fabulous winemaking country and wine is very much embedded in life; the Swiss have very high expectations of quality, sustainability and ecology, which means their wines are not just excellent, they are also clean and green.
Austria has a winegrowing heritage stretching back over three millennia and produces some of the best wines in the world, of unparalleled quality, from grape varieties not grown elsewhere. Yet Austrian wine also remains relatively unknown and under-represented in the UK.
For this reason, we have selected x3 boutique alpine wines to be paired with x4 fine artisan cheeses and condiments, to discover these unique terroirs and landscapes together. £115 per household inclusive of delivery.
